If you been frustrated with your existing cable tv provider or had been in the past, then you are certainly not alone. Many people out there are sharing the same frustrations, from getting poor receptions to getting limited shows with high prices. Many of us signed up for cable tv service basing mainly on the existing companies that we know of, the ones the sent us ads in the mail, or the ones that run paid ads on telivision. Many of us are probably not even aware that there are several different cable tv providers that are available to service in the state or city that we live in. Many are probably only aware of just a few providers, out of all the available companies, simply because we never see their commercials or advertising on telivision, or maybe because we never received any printed ads in the mail. Many of us may have based our decisions about cable tv providers basing on who we heard or saw on tv. With that limited information, we were not able to fully compare different cable tv providers basing on their pricing, packages, deals, and more because how can you compare these companies when you do not know all of them?

Thanks to the hardwork of CableTVAdvisor.com people can now make smart decisions on which cable providers to avail depending on their prices, packages and deals. I recently checked out their site at http://www.cabletvadvisor.com/cable-providers/ and I like how people can search cable providers basing on which state and city they live, this way it is more specialized service for your area. It is good to be able to know what are all the available fruits in the basket so that you will be able to decide which fruits you like the most, whether its an apple, an orange, a banana, etc. Just like choosing for cable tv providers, each of them have their own technology capabilities, packages and deals, high and low prices that they offer to their consumers and customers, its up to the consumers to decide which one meets their needs the best that is why it is good to know all the providers available in your area so that you can smartly compare all the options you have and go from there.

In the past, many of us make our decision of which cable telivision providers we signed up with basing on the ads we received in the mail or saw on tv. With CableTVAdvisor around that will tremendously help and assist us, and putting our cable tv shopping in a whole new level, knowing that we will be able to know which companies are available in your area, which is a huge advantage because that is when we can truly compare services, prices, deals, and packages that meet our needs and wants the best. Afterall, cable telivision is an entertainment business, the last thing we need is be so stressed trying to look for the right provider to give us entertainment. Another great thing i like about their website is the Deal Of The Day basing on which place you live.

We were watching the Finale of The Bachelorette (Ali) tv show last night (August 2, 2010) and it was definitely a surprised twist that Ali sent home Chris a day earlier than what the show normally have it in the past, during the rose ceremony. After all that he been thru recently in his life, Ali did it more as a concern for Chris so he doesnt have to hope for Ali's decision to choose him when she already made up her mind at that point. And thats when a rainbow appeared in the Bora-Bora in Tahiti Island which reminded him of his mother. When they showed the rainbow on air, it was such a stunning rainbow specially in a beautiful island setting of Bora Bora.

As per my photograph above, i took this picture outside of our place, right after we had rain one time. With all the trees and houses nearby, it was hard to see the whole rainbow but it stand out pretty good in an amber cloudy day. There is something about rainbow that is so magical, it carries a message of hope, a peace and beauty after a storm.

We hear the saying over and over: different folks have different strokes. Same different strokes personality applies to watching movies. A lot of us are movie fanatics, but we do have different ways of watching them. Some watch movies the moment they hit the big screen when they are showing in theaters, while others are fine waiting for few months to purchase a copy of DVD or Blu-ray. For our family, the later is our prefered choice, because we like the convenience of having complete control of the playing time, play, pause, rewind, forward, etc. Seeing the movie in big screen definitely have its huge advantage as well, like seeing the movie in a BIG screen and being able to see it right away and forget the waiting part of buying the printed DVD or Blu-Ray copy, which sometimes take months.

What about you folks, what is your prefered way of watching your favorite movie and why?

Thank you for visiting www.HonestlyFresh.com today! See you again another day!

Telivision surely gone a long way. Before the end of February 2009, the nationwide implementation of digital signal is in full effect (in the USA) and making your analog telivision old and obsolete, but can still be usuable if you can obtain a signal converter from analog to digital.

Nowadays, clear high definition picture is among the sought-after advantage of going digital. Another great advantage of going digital is being able to set reminders of your favorite shows and being able to record!

Different telivision channels compete with each other tremendously, and at peak hours specially in the evening, each channels broadcast their most popular shows almost at the same time frames. As a result, many viewers ended up confused which channel to go to and what show to watch. If only there was a way to watch all your favorite shows at your own pace and not miss any of them! Fortunately, now there is, we can now record shows that play at the same time, this way, while watching one show, you can watched your other recorded favorite show at later time at your convenience.

Recorder unit usually is an additional package that you can avail at an additional cost to your availed tv package. People have different views and comments with regards to availing a digital recorder because it is not something that you automatically get for free when you signup for cable or satellite signal. I personally didnt like the idea of paying extra to get the recorder unit, but one day we decided to try it for a month, and now its hard to imagine not having one! The best thing about having a digital recorder for telivision is having the power to pause, forward, rewind, stop the show at any time. And if you are busy at the time the show is played on telivision, if you recorded the show, you can play it at a later time! That is definitely convenience and you are in full control, and best of all, you can fast-forward the commercials in between entirely!

We been wondering what ever happen to the Rolloffs in Oregon the past few months that theres been no new episodes of their hit reality show, Little People Big World. We have been following their show for awhile, almost since the first day that their first episode first showned on TLC.

Last week, my hubby told me that he saw an ad on tv about the show, and a new episode of their show got aired last Monday finally. I like their new front patio and garage makeover, although they didnt show it very well on tv, just a glimpse and parts of the project. At the end of the last episode last year, the Rolloffs family where facing chaos and challenges with their major garage renovation, the family living in a construction area.

In the new episodes that are coming, it seems that their family have bigger tasks to tackle nowadays. Matt went to the Middle East and meet a family there that have three (3) dwarf kids. Matt went face to face with the danger in the middle of the war zone, a glimpse of what our brothers and sisters in the army have to go through when they are stationed there.

Their show, Little People Big World, is making waves specially here in the US, and it is good to know that they are reaching out for those in need and taking actions to actually help people!

One of new tv show we been watching is the Celebrity Circus, where popular celebrities/stars like Christopher Knight of the The Brady Bunch perform dangerous and professional circus moves infront of a live stage audience. Celebrity Circus is a competition between the participating stars which allows the tv audience to vote for their favorites which will be the determining factor if who will stays and who will go. With time constrainst and challenging circus moves, each of the participating celebrity performs live on stage and on tv his/her new learned skills, just like the professional circus gurus do it! It is exhilarating and sometimes make the audience speechless to see each of the star perform live since most of the circus moves needs intense training and concetration like playing with fire, walking on a thin wire high above the ground, circling in a German Wheel, etc. But it is amazing that most of the stars perform their moves really good as if they have years of training. Its a cool show.

My hubby and I had been following the telivision series Lost since it first played on tv. But somewhere along the way, I got diverted to watching my favorite reality tv show, The Apprentice, a year before last which caused me to miss a lot of the episodes of Lost that were shown on tv at the same time. So I decided to make it a tradition to buy the dvd pack of Lost seasons every year during Christmas time so that my hubby and I can watch the show together at our own pace with no commercials. So far I bought my hubby all three (3) seasons of Lost, and the fourth season is now being played every week on tv this month. Last wednesday, I started watching the show on tv, and I realized how lost I am in the show already because I only got to see the whole Season 1 of Lost, parts of Season 2 and very few of Season 3. Although we have all dvd packs (1-3) right now, i just dont have the time yet to watch all episodes in succession for me to be able to catch up with the whole story and be able to connect with Season 4, which is being played on tv this month. I have no idea how some of the main characters in the show ended up out of the island already and how they were able to get back to their daily lives out of the island. Right now, I am so lost in Lost, and I am hoping to be able to catch up one of these days, before it is time to buy the Season 4 dvd pack again by the end of the year!

What about you, are you a fan of Lost? Do you watch this telivision series all the time when it is played on tv?

For Valentines Day, we went to an Italian restaurant here in our area and of course I ordered my usual favorite, Fettuccine Presto with Shrimps. The italian restaurant that we went to is new, not even a year old yet, and we been there around 4-5 times already since it opened last year 2007. And everytime we go there, I usually order the same menu, because I kinda like how they cook and prepare the whole recipe, and i always think that white sauce are so yummy. Their complimentary bread and soup are also something to look forward to, and they sure seem to have perfected the taste of the best bread ever.

After our nice italian meal, we went to Walmart and grabbed No Reservations dvd movie, starring Catherine Zeta-Jones and Aaron Eckhart. We then headed home, and watched the movie comfortably in our sofa and paused when we need or have to, which i like best about watching movie at home! No Reservations is a romantic movie about two head chefs in a restaurant, then they fell in love, and i wont tell you the rest of the story just incase you have plan buying the movie, and I dont want to ruin the thrill of what happened next! Personally, i think it is a great romantic heart-warming movie, so romantic and sweet as well.

After we watched the movie at home, we decided to make a pizza, and we just done eating it few minutes ago. Happy Valentines Day everyone, thanks for visiting my blog today :-)

Last night was the second day showing of American Idol Season 7, a two-hour show starting at eight oclock and ended at ten oclock pacific time. We missed the first part of the show, around thirty minutes of it because I was blogging and was not sure exactly what time the show was starting, i thought it would start at nine oclock. I tried waking up my Hubby from his short nap at eight, but I guess he was that tired, he didnt hear me, so I decided to let him take the nap. Thirty minutes since the show started, my hubby called me and told me why I didnt wake him up, American Idol already started!

Last night audition show was held in Dallas Texas, with lots of aspiring artists as you can see, the auditorium was full and hundreds of applicants lined up for their turn to face Simon, Randy and Paula in the judging room! One of the person who auditioned, that definitely made a presence was a guy named Renaldo Lapuz from Reno Nevada wearing a white shinny cape with a matching wing-designed hat. When he first appeared on screen, being interviewed by Ryan in the queue, we thought that he was probably just one of those non-serious applicant just want to dress up to be on tv. But when he started singing his original song composition titled, Were Brothers Forever, he did pretty good, even Simon liked him! My hubby thought he was Filipino, and I said, probably not. And then I went to my co-blogger Chant blog today, and she mentioned that Renaldo Lapuz, is indeed a filipino (a guy from the Philippines). If you missed the show last night, see Renaldo Lapuz performance here:

In the Oprah telivision show today, one of the highlight of todays episode is the interview of a homeless man that was given $100,000 by a filmmaker in exchange to have his day to day life as a homeless person be filmed and documented and turn into a film documentary. The homeless man who was given the $100,000 was given complete control of what he wanted to do with the money. He was given the chance to make his own choices and decisions with it. The filmed documentary was done as a social experiment, to test someone like the homeless man, how a certain individual make critical and important decisions in his life when given this chance, the $100,000 that was given to him for free. In the Oprah show, the filmed documentary was not really shown in the Oprah show, but they were showing little tidbits of the documentary only, and the homeless man and the filmmaker was interviewed on the show.

If you will ask me, what can I do with $100,000 if someone will give it to me for free, and I have total control and choice whatever I want to do with it? Hmm, I could definitely use it well that will definite not only benefit me but my family as well. I would totally consider buying a four or three bedroom house in a great neighborhood still with lots of yard for us. Even if we have some yard right now where the dogs can play, we could definitely use some more square footage in the house. So, probably that is what I would do, buy a house for us, if I am the one given the $100,000 or more, even if such amount can hardly buy anyone even a vacant lot anymore these days.

What about you, if you are given $100,000 and you have the chance to make decisions all by yourself with what you want to do with it, what are you going to do? Will the opportunity make your life better or worse?

Did I got your attention from the title? Honestly, i really have no desire to climb the highest peak on earth, Mount Everest. I am definitely content just being a passenger in a plane if I ever want to experience being up in the air. But we have been watching the reality tv show, Beyond The Limit, that is shown on television in the Discover Channel. It is quite amazing and surprising how many people actually dream of climbing Mount Everest, to reach the very peak, and to conquer the highest place on earth. Personally, it is not my goal in life really to reach there, nor am I in the mission to try to prove to myself or to anyone that I can do such a thing. But there are some people who are quite determine to be on top of Mount Everest regardless of how hazardous and deadly it can be. If you have seen the show, or have heard of anyone who try to climb or had climb Mount Everest in the pest, then you prbably heard that it is definitely not an easy task for anyone to achieve. Basing in the tv show, climbing Mount Everest is actually a very dangerous and risky goal. It is beyond my logical comprehension to undertstand why someone would choose to put herself or himself in great danger just to climb Mount Everest, and is willing to pay around $50,000 more or less to be up there. Whatever their purpose for going up there, they are definitely aware of the danger that they have to face during the climbing process, but then if they conquer the highest peak and reach the top, it will probably give great deal of accomplishment... I many never know, nor do I know someone who like to climb Mount Everest, I am just writing this article to express how I feel about climbing Mount Everest! What about you, did you ever dream of climbing the highest peak on earth, Mount Everest? And if so, why? What are your goals and motivations for wanting to climb there?

We are great fans of the movie Bourne. We bought both Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy DVDs the moment they were released and available for sale in store shelves. We had been waiting for the next DVD release of the third Bourne, so as soon as we learned that the third movie (Bourne Ultimatum) came out this December 2007, it was definitely on our short listed list of DVDs to buy this year. As usual, the movie gave the watchers a feeling of suspense, fast, fast, fast, and quick, the whole time. If you plan to watch or buy the movie too, I would denitely recommend that you first watch the first (Bourne Identity) and second (Bourne Supremacy) movies before watching the third (Bourne Ultimatum), to be able to understand the whole movie sequence and story better because the third release is definitely a continuation of both the first and second. I personally think that the storyline and sequence of all Bourne movies are deep, complicated, and intense, you need to watch them by the sequence (first to last) for better grasp and understanding of the whole story. I also think that all three Bourne movies are definitely unique, unpredictable, and fast-paced.

And if you already own a copy of Bourne Identity and Bourne Supremacy movies, it is defiinitely worth it to add Bourne Ultimatum to your collection too.

Time and time again, there are people out there who dream, and achieve their dreams. And by working towards your dream, you get closer and closers towards making your dream come true.

The other day, I was reading my co-blogger Justine post about this super talented young filipino singer, Charice Pempengco, who was invited to perform live in US thru Ellen DeGeneres hit telivision show. And then today, I went to my co-blogger MalditangPinay post and she also have a post about the same newly discovered singer named Charice Pempengco, who became even more heard thru the website YouTube.

When I played her performance YouTube videos both when she was in singing contest back in the Philippines and also during her live singing performance at Ellen DeGeneres, she definitely have an amazing singing talent, and if you havent read nor heard about this talented kid from the Philippines, check out this video and you will know why she deserve the recognition that she is getting nowadays:

We finally broke our regular record this month, we ended up buying four (4) new release DVDs within a month period: Harry Potter 4 or 5?, Pirates of The Carribean 3, Bourne 3 and Lost 3

Earlier this year, we decided to upgrade our cable TV channel package and add HBO and Cinemax channels pack together with the regular package so that we can eliminate the costly habit of buying DVDs everytime new movies comes out in the store. We thought that if we have movies on TV that will keep us busy, we will not be so tempted to buy new DVDs everytime new movies came out, it will save us $19.99 per DVD movie we do not buy.

Since we made that commitment, we have done very good until this December, when most of the new DVDs movie being released are movies that we already have copies of the earlier episodes. So sadly but excitedly, finally we broke our regular record, and bought four new DVDs to add to our old collections. Hopefully, we can think of these purchases as Christmas gifts for ourselves so we dont feel so guilty about spending the money on DVDs that will eventually depreciate in value as years go buy and new technologies comes out, like the new HD DVDs, which are double the price of DVDs, and of course like computers and telivisions, the new technologies are always better, faster, more loaded with features, and more capabilities.

There is always something new to buy, hopefully we spend our bucks in things that lasts. Right now, we are satified with DVDs, we no longer watch old tech VHS movies because its getting outdated. And it seems like DVDs is going on the same boat too, specially that the market is pushing the HD DVD nowadays, so hopefully DVDs will remain for a long time, even if HD DVDs are heavily marketed nowadays.

What about you, do you still watch VHS copies? Do you usually buy new DVDs movies when they are release in the market? Are you planning to buy the latest HD DVDs and the HD DVD player?

The other night, we were watching TV when a new commercial of Real Californa Cheese came on. I am the type of person who likes funny commercials and one of my favorite commercials on TV are commercials from Real California Cheese, where they have all kinds of funny and unique scenes about california cows being happy and having fun and using their famous commercial quote: Happy cows come from California.

The new commercial is about a duck meditating on top of a huge rock situated below a tree in the farm field. Usually when you meditate, you just relax, be calm, and utter the word UMMMM, and that was the duck was doing. Suddenly while meditating, two california cows approached the duck and told her/him that the duck is meditating the wrong way, the cows corrected the duck telling hin/her that instead of saying UMMMM, she/he should say MUUUU.

Haha. I thought the whole commercial was so funny :-)
